The project involves the expansion of the current production headquarters and offices of Golden Goose, repurposing several existing buildings with a variety of construction systems and a disjointed design resulting from multiple extensions over time. The most significant architectural intervention includes the demolition and reconstruction of the building facing Via Serio, originally two stories high. It has now been demolished and rebuilt into a four-story building, increasing its height by two levels. The building features a micro-perforated metal façade, functioning as a ventilated wall.

The interiors, designed in an industrial style, are characterized by the contrast between raw materials and elegant finishes, a hallmark of Golden Goose’s aesthetic. The system of external terraces creates a series of distinctive spaces; the presence of greenery and the use of micro-perforated metal sheets unify these spaces, despite their varied functions: outdoor work and collaboration areas, sports activities, and corporate events.

The project plays a key role in the ongoing redevelopment of the entire area, drawing inspiration from the austere architecture typical of Milan. It envisions a pure and elegant building exterior, in contrast with an inner courtyard designed as a hidden gem, rich in vegetation and characterized by clean lines and architectural proportions.

In this way, the previously unremarkable building becomes a landmark on Via Serio, and the formerly nondescript courtyard is transformed into a valuable space that enhances the entire area.
