Located in Via del Babuino, the small boutique of the Milanese luxury leather goods Maison Serapian Milano underwent a delicate restyling intervention that preserved the precious historical features of the space.
In the new store, which has a 60 sqm floor area, the brand’s “Milanese essence” is merged with the use of Maria Teresa yellow, typical of the facades of many historical buildings in the Lombard capital, polychrome marbles for the flooring, and brass and wood for the horizontal finishes.
The entrance is characterized by a frescoed vault that infuses great prestige into the surrounding environment, reminiscent of an aristocratic Milanese salon, while the walls are illuminated through display shelving systems that enhance the product and its geometries.
Completing the space with the bespoke area, a cozy environment where clients are welcomed by two Catilina seats, the result of the collaboration between Serapian and Azucena, a historic Milanese design brand founded in 1947.
